Volcano Stove anyone?

I just heard about this on a yahoo group I belong to. It’s a Volcano II Collapsible Cook Stove , a portable stove that works with gas, charcoal, or wood. And it looks really, really neat. It’s got some excellent reviews on amazon.com too.

At $110, it ain’t cheap, but if it lasts a long time it may just be a really good value.

Have you heard of it or do you own one?

    I think it would be ok for the home but at almost twenty pounds, it’s a bit heavy to take on the road when you are watching every pound.

      Thanks for the comment. I found this on a vandwellers yahoo group where people are living full time in their vehicles (some RVs, some smaller vehicles), so I’m surprised to hear that you think the weight is too much. I appreciate the comment though. When I read reviews people love how portable it is, so you’ve just given me something to think about.
